About Courtney
I have always found a passion for all things health and wellness and originally went to college with the goal of becoming a Dietitian. Although I quickly realized I did not resonate with the curriculum on how we should be eating and taking care of ourselves. So I took this passion for health and switched my goal to mental health- eventually graduating with a degree in Psychology.
Despite my love for health, I spent a majority of my college years developing more and more strange symptoms until my health completely crashed. I could barely get out of bed to shower, eat, and have now put my entire life on hold to heal. At this point it has become very clear to me that there is so much more to being healthy than just eating well, exercising, and going to the doctor once a year. I knew that once I learned these root causes and healed myself I would be helping others. I cannot wait until I get to a point in my healing where I can help others. For now, I am putting my health first and supporting my body through various detox therapies, moving out of mold, halting incoming toxins, targeted supplements to remove toxins and pathogens and nourish my cells, and remembering to give myself grace on this healing journey because it takes time. I am also continually learning how to restore balance to the body through my IHP and MBSR certifications, experts and doctors who stress the importance of finding the root causes of dysfunction, others who have healed their chronic illnesses, and attending countless online conferences.
Unfortunately and unknowingly, we are bombarded everyday in the U.S. with toxins from moldy housing, our drinking water, food, and personal care products. On top of this, lyme and parasites go undetected by modern medical testing and therefore untreated- left to wreak havoc on the body. This leaves so many of us believing our symptoms are normal and we are destined for a life of mental and physical illness. I wish I knew all of this when I was in the thick of my confusion. But now I'm here to show others that our bodies are made to heal.
